Job Description

In this role, you will lead and manage common facilities covering Site Facilities projects, building infrastructures, utilities, and services throughout their life cycle from design to commissioning.
In your new role you will:
  • Lead and manage facilities projects, organizes a team that consists of internal Facility, another department, counterpart from other sites, consultant & contractor, ensuring project cost-effective & on-time delivery, identifying & implementing best practice exchange with other sites.
  • Prepare forecast of the facility's upcoming project, oversee facility projects contract, manage facilities budgets, risk, contractors and drive for standards and best practices cluster harmonization.
  • Ensure that facilities' infrastructure fulfills government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards. Interface management to external (General Contractors, Contractors, Consulting Firms, authorities, vendors) and internal stakeholders (Facility Management, Automation, IT, etc). Engaged in contract negotiations
  • Setup and review KPIs, charting out specific actions and focus attention areas as needed and preparing facilities budgets, and monitoring expenditures
  • Apply the full range of interpersonal skills to direct/persuade/influence the critical audience to interpret site and segment short and long term business plans strategies (TCR/LTCR) by developing innovative solutions and applying the results from extensive research
  • Initiate and drive energy & resource efficiency programs, and internal audit plans under various company-adopted management systems.
  • Setup smart facilities – embracing IoT, Industry 4.0 work concepts & methods and combining with data analytics to enable higher productivity, better process stability & control, and enhancing predictive nature in Facility operational excellence.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or Engineering. Preferably IPMA C certified
  • Minimum 8 years experience in managing industrial and manufacturing infra-structure construction projects as well as facility operations in the manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding of building and facility equipment restoration e.g. clean room, HVAC, compressor, fire system, electricity, etc
  • Strong in leading a team, presentation, and adaptability
  • Self-driven, result-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency in English, good communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
